Oraro & Company Advocates was recently at an energy briefing and networking drinks reception which was themed “Realizing Kenya’s Renewable Energy Potential in the Near Term”. Held at the Hilton Nairobi, the event offered participants opportunities to network with senior-level stakeholders active in Kenya’s renewable energy space. One of the guest speakers was Hezy Ram, CEO, Ram Energy. Hezy is particularly recognised for his geothermal expertise and was a panel moderator at the event. Our firm was represented by Cindy Oraro. Cindy is a Senior Associate in the firm’s corporate and commercial team and is particularly specialised in energy projects, infrastructure and PPP. Over the past 4 years, she has advised on projects in the renewable energy sphere, particularly solar energy projects. The event was organised by Kenya International Renewable Energy Congress which was designed as a springboard to accelerate renewable energy developments across Kenya.
