The firm donated KES 1 million to the Nairobi Hospice, a charitable organisation which provides care for patients facing life limiting illness and conducts training for healthcare professionals, community health workers and volunteers in palliative healthcare to allow patients and their families to have comfort and an improved quality of life.
In a country with a soaring population currently at over 45 million people, access to quality healthcare is a struggle for most low to middle income earners who form 85% of Kenyans without any form of health cover relying on out of pocket means to foot medical bills. This is an apparent need and the firm has previously been involved in contributing generously towards healthcare.
