Oraro & Company Advocates partnered with BDO-East Africa and IFS Mauritius to proudly host an intimate breakfast forum dubbed: Hub-to-Hub: Effective structuring in and out of East Africa through the Mauritius IFC. The forum brought together various stakeholders within financial institutions as well as distinguished investment companies to discuss pertinent investment issues. The forum was held on 14th November 2016 at Nairobi Serena Hotel. Cindy Oraro (Senior Associate) was one of the guest speakers who spoke alongside Dr. Ramakrishna Sithanen (Chairman, IFS Mauritius), the keynote speaker at the event. In collaboration with some of its local partners, the firm hosted a similar related event in Kampala at the Protea Hotel on 16th November 2016.
