The Somalia International Arbitration Summit Conference (SIAS) is happening today (Monday 11th April 2016) at the Villa Rosa Kempinski in Nairobi and we are deeply humbled that one of our lawyers Juliet C. Mazera (Consultant)  is participating in the event. Juliet  is one of the Infrastructure and oil and gas panelists and she will be speaking on an introduction to Infrastructure investment. Juliet’s experience extends to oil & gas business agreements and contracts; she advised on the establishment and construction of a LPG facility at the Port of Kilindini in Mombasa. In addition, Juliet has a breadth of expertise acting for various clients including large IPPs. In the area of PPPs she has worked with investors working with county governments on first-of-a-kind PPP projects. The hosts of the SIAS event are the Office of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Justice, Federal Government of Somalia, with the support of  the World Bank Group. SIAS is an exclusive, two day event – to be held in Nairobi and Mogadishu. Some of the other participants in the event are High level government officials, world renowned academics and leading international dispute resolution practitioners.
