BACKGROUND
Madikizela is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution Department and her practice areas are banking & commercial disputes, succession, employment, arbitration and general commercial contract matters.
Madikizela holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Nottingham and a post graduate diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.
EXPERIENCE
- Part of the team representing the government in a dispute concerning the constitutionality of the reintroduction of mobile money tariffs in bank to Mpesa transactions.
- Part of the team representing former employees of Britam in a malicious criminal prosecution claim where the employees were charged with KES 1 billion fraud charges.
- Part of the team representing a major real estate company in several contractual disputes involving breach of contract and the recovery of property.
- Part of the team representing a medical services provider in negotiating and mediating a contractual dispute worth over 1 million USD.
